I paid my car note and my car is off I paid a partial payment today and my car was supposed to be cut back on which it wasn't so now I have to wait until Monday just to get into contact with someone because public automotive decided that they were going to close all of their businesses down without letting their customers know so there's no one to get in contact with except the payment center and they're closed obviously I need my car back on I have to go to work

Public Auto Sales is NOT a "Scam"

I understand that some of the Public Auto Sales' customers are angry and frustrated. Oddly enough, it is only the customers which have been repossessed that are angry, frustrated, confused and want to give these bad reviews. Public Auto Sales is not in the business of ripping people off, nor are they in the business of giving free vehicles. All these customers that have been repossessed, were repossessed for not making their payments. Public Auto Sales has been more lenient than most Buy Here Pay Here dealers and have given the customers plenty of opportunity to catch up on their past due payments. And I am still sooooo confused on how Public Auto Sales is a scam. Public Auto Sales wasn't a scam to you when no one else would sell you a car because of your bad credit history and Public Auto Sales was willing to give you a chance to build up your credit. Maybe instead of wasting time writing bad reviews, people can invest time in reading a dictionary to gain a more intelligent vocabulary. Is SCAM the only word that you people know. There is no SCAM. Its pretty simple....Pay Your Car Note = Keep Your Car.. There is no such thing as a FREE ride.

I bought a vehicle from public auto and I put down a large down payment made my car payments on time also. I was put in one vehicle that had a issue with engine light and I was put into another vehicle which was when all my problems started...They kept trying to take the car from me because it actually was a lien on it and I liked the car so much I didn't want to give it back public auto gave me so many problems over that and when I didn't give in and give up the vehicle I guess they took care of the lien, it wasn't my problem to begin with, and the car was over priced.

Public auto priced the car at $20,000 but the kbb of the vehicle was $8000 total and I learned this 4 months before actually paying the vehicle off. Public auto would call send out notices way before my payments were due.

I got so tired of it, so I started to double up on my car payments and give them $500 every two weeks to hurry and get the car paid off. And when I paid the car off public auto had the nerve to ask me to purchase another vehicle from them....

Pruitt Auto Sales Granbury TX Car lot had car with their mechanic shop for 4 days and they sold the car for car abandonment. During the time the car lot had the car the owner called in to confirm that they were still working on it and would pick up 3 days later and they sold it before then. When owner went to pick up the car on Friday July 1st 2015 the owner of the car lot told owner they had sold her car and could not get it back but would not pay owner of the car any money back

Dear Public Auto Sales/MCA Financial customers, If you are able hire a good attorney, document everything, ask to speak with someone above the office manager Karina Ortega, ask for a Karilyn Thomas (managing director for MCA Financial), call David Sharp 214.507.1447 shown as the receiver, have your attorney ask why payments are held tail after the due date in order to evoke defaults, call 602.710.2500/602.710.2520/214.452.8200 until you reach someone or receive a call back. Allow your attorney or representative to be your voice and keep your cool.

Public Auto Sales Scam

We have gotten reports from several consumers who bought cars with this dealership. The dealership is no longer at either of it's location, when you try to pay your car note with a pay near me card that was issued by the dealership, it's invalid. We have pictures of the empty car lots at all locations with no posting to notify customers. We have now been notified that a person by the name of Eddie is calling customers who loans were not bought by United Acceptance asking them to come to Boulevard Motors saying that's the new Public Auto asking them to pay their payments. BEWARE this is a SCAM!! We are contacting the news to see if we can get them to run a story for all consumers who have been hurt by this company. I have been trying to figure this out. When they closed two guys came to my house in the colony and took my car I didn't get any call that they where coming and went up to the shop to get to pay and they where closed.

I put 7000 down and only had it for a few months. I'm at a lose for words with these ***

Public Auto Sales, up & moved closed down with no warning. My car i am paying for, i cancelled my bank account, no one called, or emailed, or sent letters to say we closed down. i have no idea where to send my car payment too. i cant trade in my used car, no other car lot will even take a car from Public Auto sales as a trade-in. I WAS CONTACTED BU THESE PEOPLE ALSO. THEY SAID I HAD TO BRING IN AT LEAST THREE PAYMENTS EVEN THOUGH THEY JUST VANISHED AND NEVER CONTACTED ANYONE. i WENT TO MAKE PAYMENT AND WAS TOLD I WOULD BE CONTACTED, BUT NEVER WAS FOR 2 MONTHS.

NEVER EVER BUY A CAR HERE!!! Bad car and bad customer service. They are nice until u actually buy the car. Ive had problems since day one with my car and they offer no help and even get bad attitudes when u ask for help. This place is horrible. My acct mngr got fired w/o my knoweledge i kept calling tryng to make a payment no answer lft numerous msgs no call back. To then get a call one month talkin bout i owe such nd such. When i told dem what hapened they told me he got fired they lost my files and are now gettin round to calling me. Called and spoke to someone who declined to give me his name and hung up in my face. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY!!!!!!! Poor communication and then they catchin attitudes wit ppl like its ur fault.

Stay away from this company, they make you pay for insurance that is not actually state approved coverage. They tell you it is insurance when actually it is to cover their interest only. The interesting thing was that I had full coverage for a year and nothing was said. Then they start tell me I sign some paperwork agreeing to pay for their insurance. I noticed the majority of their customers are black and Hispanic " isn't that strange" maybe if their were more white customers they wouldn't be scamming people. Watch your accounts make sure to get receipts.
